Privacy Policy Overview
This privacy policy explains what personal data Wyoming Registered Agent Prime LLC collects, why, who else handles it, and how it is protected. It describes the system as it is actually built, not as a general statement of intent.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Wyoming Registered Agent Prime LLC, 5830 E 2nd St Ste 6511, Casper, WY 82609, United States, decides how and why your personal data is used. You can reach us at [email protected] or (307) 888-9851.
2. What we collect
Your account. First name, last name, email address, and a password, which is stored only as a cryptographic hash and is never visible to us.
Your entity record. The entity name, formation state, entity type, formation date, EIN, Wyoming filing identification, registered agent of record, principal office address and mailing address. Where you add owners and managers, the record holds each person’s name, role, email address, mobile number, address and country.
Operational records. Documents of record, scanned mail, service-of-process documents, compliance and renewal dates, service history, and invoices, each attached to the entity it concerns.
Technical and security data. When you sign in or take an action in the portal we record the event, the time, your user identifier, the record involved, and your IP address. This is the audit log described in section 7.
Correspondence. What you send us by email, through the contact form, or in a support ticket.
Payment data. Order and invoice history. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
3. Where it comes from
Almost all of it comes from you, when you create an account, add an entity, buy a service, or write to us. The rest arrives in the ordinary course of acting as your registered agent: documents delivered to the Wyoming Registered Office by process servers, courts, and the Wyoming Secretary of State are received on your entity’s behalf and recorded against it.
4. Why we use it
- To perform the service. Accepting service of process and official correspondence, identifying which entity it belongs to, forwarding it to you, and tracking the deadlines it carries.
- To meet legal obligations. Acting as registered agent is a statutory role under the Wyoming Registered Agents Act, and some records exist because the law requires an agent to keep them.
- To take payment and to issue invoices and receipts.
- To secure the platform. Bot protection at sign-in, and the audit log that lets us establish who accessed which record and when.
- To support you when you write to us.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
5. Who else processes it
These are the third parties that handle personal data on our behalf. Each is used for the purpose stated and nothing else.
| Processor | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Card payment processing | Card details, provided directly to Stripe; we never receive or store full card numbers |
| SureCart | Commerce engine: orders, subscriptions, and invoices. It does not send marketing or account emails to clients | Name, email, billing details, and purchase history |
| Cloudflare | CDN, TLS encryption, and Turnstile bot protection on sign-in and sign-up | IP address and request metadata |
| Our web hosting provider | Server hosting for the website and client portal | All stored data, at rest on the server |
| Our email provider | Delivery of transactional and support email | Name, email address, and message content |
| Google Analytics | Aggregate website usage analytics | Usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location, via analytics cookies |
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal process, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
6. Documents of record and how they are protected
Uploaded documents, mail scans, and service-of-process files are stored outside the public web root. They are never available at a public URL and cannot be reached by guessing an address.
A file is served only through a link that is authenticated, checked against ownership at the moment of the request, and expires. Authorisation is derived from a single ownership chain: you can reach a record only if you own the entity it belongs to. A request for a record you do not own returns a denial, never the data — including when the identifier in the request has been altered by hand.
7. The audit log
Security-relevant events are logged: document access, receipt and forwarding of service of process, invoice and renewal changes, sign-in, and profile changes. Each entry records the time, the user identifier, the IP address the request came from, the event, the record involved, and a small amount of contextual detail.
The log exists so that the handling of a legal document can be established after the fact rather than asserted. Receipt and forwarding timestamps on service of process and mail are not editable once written.
8. Cookies and local storage
Authentication cookies. WordPress sets cookies when you sign in, so that the portal knows who you are between page loads. Without them you cannot stay signed in.
Theme preference. Your choice of light or dark appearance is kept in your browser’s local storage under the key wrap-theme. It never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
Security. Cloudflare Turnstile runs on the sign-in and sign-up forms to distinguish people from automated scripts. It is a privacy-preserving alternative to a puzzle-based challenge and does not track you across websites.
Analytics. Google Analytics is used to understand aggregate website usage, such as which pages are viewed. It sets analytics cookies and collects usage data and an approximate location; it is not used for advertising. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by declining analytics cookies. The site carries no third-party advertising trackers.
9. International transfers
Our systems are operated from the United States, and personal data is stored there. If you are outside the United States, using the service involves your data being transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection law differs from the law where you live.
10. How long we keep it
We collect only what the service needs, and we keep records for as long as we act as your registered agent and for as long afterwards as the law requires us to hold them. Documents of legal record and the audit log are retained longer than convenience data, because their purpose is to be available later.
- Documents of legal record — service of process, official state correspondence, and the receipt and forwarding timestamps attached to them — are kept for the life of the appointment and for at least 7 years after our appointment as your registered agent ends, so that the handling of a legal document can be established long after the fact.
- The audit log is kept for at least 7 years from the date of each entry, for the same reason.
- Entity and account records are kept while we act for you and for up to 7 years afterwards, to meet recordkeeping, tax, and legal-defense obligations.
- Invoices and payment history are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law, generally 7 years.
- Support correspondence is kept for up to 3 years after your last contact with us.
- Contact-form and marketing messages from people who do not become clients are kept for up to 2 years.
When you leave. When your appointment ends we close portal access and stop using your data for anything except the retention purposes above. At the end of each applicable period we delete the data, or irreversibly anonymise it, on a scheduled basis. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we delete everything we are not required by law to keep, and we tell you what (if anything) must be retained and why.
11. Your rights
You can see and correct most of your data yourself: your account details and the whole of your entity record are editable in the client portal, and every change is logged. For anything you cannot change there, write to [email protected] and we will deal with it.
Some data cannot be deleted on request while we remain your registered agent, because a registered agent is required to hold it, and because documents of legal record and their timestamps exist precisely so they cannot be altered after the fact.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights over your personal data: to access a copy of it; to correct it if it is wrong; to delete it (subject to the records a registered agent must keep); to object to or restrict certain uses; to receive it in a portable format; and to withdraw a consent you previously gave. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of there.
How to exercise them. Most of your data is editable in the client portal. For anything else, email [email protected] from the address on your account. We will verify your identity, respond within 30 days (and tell you if a complex request needs longer), and we will not charge you or treat you differently for asking. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local data-protection authority.
United States residents. Where a U.S. state privacy law applies to you — for example the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended — you have the rights above, including the right to know what we hold, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
UK, EU, and other GDPR-style regimes. Because we offer services to non-U.S. residents, where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to you our legal bases for processing are: performing our contract with you; complying with a legal obligation (a registered agent’s statutory duties); and our legitimate interests in securing and operating the platform. You have the rights listed above and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
12. Security
- Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS.
- Every portal request is authenticated, and authorisation is checked against the ownership chain on every request rather than once at sign-in.
- Every action that changes data is protected against cross-site request forgery and checked against the acting user’s permissions before it runs.
- Roles carry the minimum permissions needed: client permissions are separate from operations and administrative permissions.
- Passwords are stored only as hashes. API keys and secrets are never placed in client-side code.
- Documents of record are stored outside the public web root and served only through expiring, ownership-checked links.
13. If something goes wrong
We maintain an incident-response procedure covering containment, assessment, and notification. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you consistent with our legal obligations, and the audit log is used to establish what was accessed and when.
14. Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, write to us and we will remove it.
15. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we will update the “last revised” date above, and where the change is material we will notify active clients. If we add analytics, advertising, or any new sub-processor, this policy will be updated before that happens.
